1. Ownership and Intellectual Property Retention
Photographers and creators retain full copyright ownership of all photographs, media assets, and user content they upload to the Eventbit platform. We do not claim ownership of user content. Your files, metadata, and folders belong strictly to you. You represent and warrant that you hold all necessary rights, titles, permissions, and releases (including model and property releases where applicable) to publish, share, and deliver the media assets via our platform.
Any intellectual property relating to the Eventbit platform itself, including source code, brand entities, logos, layouts, and UX designs, remains the exclusive property of Eventbit.
2. Limited Hosting License Grant
To provide our delivery, vector-matching search, and image-optimization services, we require certain operational permissions. By uploading content to Eventbit, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, process, cache, resize, compress, digitally display, and transmit your media files solely for the purpose of operating, maintaining, and providing the Services to you and your authorized clients or guests. This license will terminate automatically once you delete your files or close your account.
3. User Compliance and Responsibilities
As an account holder, you bear sole responsibility for all images and information uploaded under your credentials. You agree not to upload any media that infringes upon third-party copyrights, trademarks, or privacy rights. You must not publish materials that violate local laws or regulations. If we receive notice of copyright infringement or legal complaints from third parties regarding your content, we will review the claim in accordance with our legal obligations and reserve the right to restrict access or remove the disputed content.
4. Addressing Intellectual Property Infringements
We respect the intellectual property rights of others. In accordance with applicable laws, including the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and Indian copyright rules, we will respond promptly to written notices of alleged copyright infringement. If you believe your copyrighted work is being infringed upon on the platform, please review our dedicated DMCA Policy or submit a formal, signed notice to our support desk. We operate a repeat infringer policy and will disable or terminate accounts that consistently violate intellectual property rights.
