EventBit Studio is operated from India and processes personal data in connection with photography studios, client galleries, payments, and related services. This page summarizes how we align our product and practices with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and applicable rules. It is an informational overview and does not constitute legal advice.
Our Role
Depending on the processing activity, EventBit may act as a Data Fiduciary(for example, studio account data we determine the purposes of) or as a processor on behalf of photographers (for example, client gallery data processed under the photographer's instructions).
Lawful Processing & Consent
- Account registration constitutes acceptance of our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, with consent logged for audit.
- Face Search / Face Recognition (selfies, cropped face images, and biometric embeddings) is processed based on clear consent obtained before capture or upload. Details, third-party processors, retention, and withdrawal steps are in our Privacy Policy — AI Face Recognition & Face Search.
- Cookie and analytics preferences can be managed via our cookie banner and footer controls.
- Marketing notification preferences can be managed in Settings → Notifications.
Rights of Data Principals
Subject to the Act and applicable exceptions, you may request to:
- Access a summary of personal data we process about you
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete personal data
- Erase personal data that is no longer necessary
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
- Nominate another person to exercise rights in case of death or incapacity
Studio users can use Settings → Privacy & Data to export account data and manage AI consent where available, and Settings → Danger Zone to request account deletion.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may escalate to the Data Protection Board of India as provided under the DPDP Act and rules.
Children's Data
EventBit Studio is intended for users aged 18 years or older. We do not knowingly process personal data of children below 18 without verifiable parental consent where required by law.
Security & Retention
We apply reasonable security safeguards appropriate to the nature of the data we process. Retention periods are described in our Data Retention Policy and Privacy Policy. Additional technical security measures are described on our Security Policy page.
