1. Billing and Payments Overview
This Refund Policy governs all subscription plans, transaction processing, and chargeback rules associated with your account on Eventbit. By subscribing to any of our paid plans (including Basic, Pro, Business, or Studio tiers), you explicitly agree to the billing cycles, proration adjustments, and refund limitations outlined in this document. All payments are processed securely through our payment collection partners, Chargebee, Stripe, and Razorpay.
2. Billing Cycles & Tax Invoicing
Eventbit offers monthly, quarterly, and annual subscription cycles. Fees are billed in advance at the beginning of each billing period. Subscription invoices include all applicable taxes (such as 18% GST for users in India or relevant regional VAT). You can update your tax IDs, billing address, and payment methods at any time via your dashboard settings. Prorated credits are automatically calculated and applied when you upgrade your plan mid-cycle.
3. Refund Eligibility & Free Tier
To ensure you find the right fit for your studio, we offer a free tier with basic features and storage. Unless required by applicable local consumer protection laws, all fees paid for premium subscriptions are non-refundable once a billing cycle has commenced. We do not provide prorated cash refunds or cash credits for partial months of service or unused storage allocations upon account downgrades or mid-month cancellations. In rare cases of verified system failures, billing errors, or duplicate transactions caused by our gateway processors, please contact our billing desk within 7 business days of the charge to request a review. Approved refunds will be credited back to the original payment method within 5 to 10 banking days.
4. Subscription Cancellations
You may cancel your subscription at any time directly through the Billing tab in your dashboard, with no cancellation fees or penalties. Upon cancellation, your account will remain active with full access to paid features and storage allocations until the end of your current paid billing period. At the end of the period, your account will automatically downgrade to the free tier, and your storage limit will adjust accordingly.
5. Payment Failures & Account Suspension
If we are unable to collect payment on your renewal date, our payment processors will re-attempt the charge over a grace period. If all renewal attempts fail after repeated email notifications, your premium access will be suspended. To protect server capacity, galleries and uploaded photographs associated with unpaid, suspended accounts may be queued for permanent deletion 15 days after suspension. We strongly advise backing up your files locally to prevent data loss.
